They are all a great staff that takes Very Good interest in all their students.!! We moved here from another state where my daughter was struggling and wasn't getting the help needed. I am very impressed how she was tested and got the opportinity too receive the help where it's needed and still continuning through the years ahead. What a HUGE difference it's made and has really boosted her self esteem & confidence. I can't say enough about the teachers, they do so much for their students & need a High Honor for each & everyone of them. The staff also takes a great care for the students. When your child comes home & tells you what happened you know she's learning, what a great feeling as a parent. I was told in the beginning that Sunset Ridge is a Terrific School Distrit & that has been proven above and beyond.
We recently moved from the area, and what a wonderful change ! Growing up on the north shore and sending my kids to schools in the area I thought would be a good thing. The competition is UNREAl- both in sports and in the classes! Now I have kids that are happy and calm !!
I moved to Northfield recently and we love this school district. The teachs are great, made my son welcome and he loves this school so much more then his old school.
I'm a former Sunset Ridger and I'm currently at New Trier. I'm writing this review because I feel that Sunset Ridge school was a great school for me! I made so many friends their and love the teachers.. I feel so welcome every time I visit and the teachers are wonderful. As far as the quality of the academic programs I especially liked science and Spanish. In science I learned the most, we did so many hands on activities which made it so enjoyable and I was so intrigued with everything we learned. For Spanish I had Ms. Ricotta a couple years ago and she was so patient and really cared about what she was teaching about. I'm thinking about going to Argentina for a year abroad because of the enthusiasm I had for it while in Sunset Ridge. And I will never forget DR. B, the most caring principal ever!
