I had two stepsons and a daughter attend both the Opdyke and Belle Rive Attendance Center, and my granddaughter attends OBR now . The class sizes are small, and the teachers there are top notch. The parents for the most part are involved and care about what goes on. While the administration has changed a bit, the educators there all know every child at their attendance center on a first name basis. I am very satisfied with the education received there.
New administration is in place since the last review here. Sports are importiant but not the end all be all like it used to be. The quality of education beats any other small school around here. I had the opportunity to send my child elsewhere, but OBR won out. Small class size and an administrator who listens to parents and students makes this a good school
Very little discipline in school, those involved in sports (kids & adults) run the school. Very poor math instruction. Alot of clicks.
