We moved to Stillman to avoid sending our daughters to Rockford Public Jr. high and high schools. It was the best move we ever made. So many awesome teachers! The school does focus a lot on sports and extra curricular activities and has great support throughout the community. SVHS was a great fit for our family!

I have had two kids enter SVHS, and have one there now. I think the teachers and administrators are overall very good. As you would expect, I have seen great examples and horrible examples of both. I am extremely conerned about cliques and bullying within the entire Meridian district, however. While they are trying to combat the issue, I don't think they have put any kind of a dent it the problem yet. I encourage the district to step up their efforts in this area. Let's make the school experience a positive time for all students.

It is a school with caring teachers. It has great programs whether going on to college or finding a career. I have seen students that have graduated from SVHS with many college credits. Students are challenged in classes if they wish to be.

This school is sooo boring. my kids comes home everyday telling me about how the classes just go on and on. i have three teens in the high school and they sit there for eighty minutes classes, and 90% of the time are not learning anything!! Let's make school shorter, teach them what they need, then get them out of there. thank you

When I attended this school, the student body was horrid! If you were an outsider and didn't know eachother's families and had your relatives gone to school together in the past, forget fitting in for who you were! this school is so clique ridden it isn't even funny and it was by far the worst school experience I have ever endured! However, the teachers and administrative qualities are sky high!
