My son was tested also for "magnet " and there is nothing "magnet'" about this school. As you can see, the school's test results have gone down since the principal, Mrs. Avellino, took over. My child now suffers.

I am writing to say how deeply dissappointed we are. Our child was tested and had several recommendations to enroll into a Magnet program. Needless to say there is nothing Magnet about it. We were definitely deceived and now our child is the one that suffers.

My daughter's 4th grade teacher Mrs. Jennings is awesome, she runs a very structured classroom, where the children are well behaved and learning, if all schools had teachers like her, our kids have a fighting chance in life, the schools atmosphere is also great, parents are welcome and all the staff is very helpful. I like this school alot.

MRS. Elouise Jones is the principal here, and she is strict, but fair. She knows hoe to speak nicely to everyone, and she does care that everyone does their best. She is the most respectful principal since I had Mrs. Barrero. She could teach others a lesson in grace and tact. God bless her.

I think they have some good teachers and some not so good because of there organization and the class size is too large. The have music programs for students and sports. They also have a science club for after school. They have a reading night for parents and students. They welcome parent involvement. They try to teach students responsibility by giving them jobs like student protrol. They offer many programs. This school moves at a fast pace.
