I like the teachers here but feel a bit put out by the administrators in the district. There are a lot of lower achieving students which I feel the teachers focus on and thus are not challenging my kids. As usual, when the combine levels of academics in hopes of the "higher" kids bringing up the "lower" kids--it never works. The lower kids ultimately bring down the standards and the kids who are able to achieve much more are not challenged or held to a higher standard. That is why we are looking to move.

The principal and staff are so supportive. My 3rd grader moved in the middle of the year and everyone was very warm and inviting. The teachers are excellent.

This school has wonderful teachers and support staff. The administration of the school does not seem to be as concerned about the progress of the mid to low average students. To get the attention of the school administration your child must either excel or be a problem.

During our last move, the quality of the schools was our main concern. That brought us to West Chicago. We have been so impressed with Indian Knoll school. Not only is the staff concerned with the academics, but they truly care about the students and families. The staff (school and district) really make an effort to work with parents and the community to do what is in the best interest of the children. We have decided to stay in this area because we are so happy with the quality of education our children are receiving.

This school is a caring, nuturing community. Staff members are kind and compassionate and want to see every child succeed. From the minute you walk into the building you know how special it is! I am proud to be associated with this school.

Best school in the district. A lot of the parents in this district went to school here when they were kids. Now their kids are going to school together. This includes my wife, myself and our two girls. We thought about moving to Naperville last year but realized that the grass isn't always greener on the other side.
