Briar Glen Elementary School

I have to add my positive review of Briar Glen. It is a wonderful learning environment. The administration and teachers are great. The thing that especially surprised me was the feeling of 'family' among everyone involved with Briar Glen. The programming infused with Briar Glen's imperatives of be safe, respect, and responsible creates a great environment. The opportunities for meaningful family involvement are plentiful. We feel so fortunate to have Briar Glen in our community!

Briar Glen School is an excellent elementary school in District 89 for the residence of both glen Ellyn and Wheaton, Illinois. My children have all been through this school for the PAST 2O YEARS (I have 5 kids)and the educational opportunities that have been afforded to my children through this school have been beyond praise. If 'higher education' is what you are looking for, Briar Glen is where you want to be! With cultural events, arts, music, an excellent math and enhanced reading programs, challenge program, many extra curricular events as well as special math and reading programs for those children who need more individualized help in those areas. The teachers are wonderful, for the most part and are comprised of a super mix of seasoned veterans and fresh enthusiastic minds. I love this school....can't say enough about it.
