I am so glad that my children attend school here. A great Christ centered education. Teachers that work well above and beyond anything I have ever seen to assist you in making them strong citizens in this complex world. Class sizes are small and my children receive the individual attention that is needed.
I love that the teachers, pastors and staff take a personal interest in each student making it a very nurturing learning environment and a strong community. The education is fantastic and the classes are small, which means that the teachers can focus on each student individually and foster critical thinking. The parents and staff are very involved with the school, church and extra-curricular activities, which helps immensely in building a strong community, as well. Our family has had the best experience at St John, we've made many friends and we are very proud to send our daughter here. Some additional perks for working parents are the full day kindergarten option, the before/after school program from 7 am- 6pm. Plus St John has an excellent pre-K program--the director is one in a million!

Our two children started at St. John as preschoolers. Originally, we had planned on moving them into the public schools, but then we experienced the St. John family - dedicated teachers and caring parents; we knew we were in the right place. Our children are now in middle school at St. John. Without hesitation, I would enthusiastically recommend this school to any family looking for a Christ-centered, well rounded, and academically challenging education. Over the years, my children have had excellent standardized test scores and have been able to participate in cross country, basketball, track, chess club, and choir. St. John nurtures the whole child. The families are open and welcoming. The school has an enthusiastic Parent Teacher League. Our decision to send our children to St. John has been a blessing. It was the best decision we could have made for our children.
Our daughter began Kindergarten this year at St. John. We had intentions of keeping her there for the year, and going elsewhere when she hit 1st grade. We have been blown away with the quality of leadership and education. Not to mention the fact that we have felt as though we were cradled in the arms of everyone there. The support and family oriented feel really go a long way. I believe this goes without saying, but we are reenrolling for next year!
All of our children currently attend or did attend St. John Lutheran in Wheaton. Our younger kids love the teachers, pastors and just being at school. St. John has an excellent academic curriculum, the class sizes are small and Christ is at the center of everything. Our oldest daughter, who is now a freshman at a public high school in Wheaton, is doing really well at the next level participating in sports, music and taking honors classes. The teaching and nurturing she received at St. John helped make her transition to high school positive.
I have several children enrolled in St. John Preschool and couldn't be more thrilled in the quality of thier program. St. John teachers are exceptionally caring and very attentive to each student's progress and needs. The Christ-centered environment sets the tone for a loving place to learn and grow. The elementry and middle school programs are also excellent!
Our daughter attended St. John's preschool and now our son is enrolled in the program. Not only is it a caring environment that concentrates the social as well as academic development of each child, but it's also a fun environment that encourages free play, music education and allowing a 'kid to be kid'.
Both of our children attend St. John and while our public schools are excellent, we have found that we as a family thrive in the nurturing academic environment that St John provides. The fine arts curriculum, including band and music, are outstanding. The science and math, particularly at 5th grade and beyond, well-prepared our oldest to attend high school and excel in honors courses. The current focus on reading, writing and language arts is strengthening an already excellent academic environment. The learning, coupled with the moral and christian education that my children receive is something of which we can be proud.
St. John is a excellent school. It is a Christ centered and loving environment with high academic standards. The teachers care for each child and each family.
