Our family has 3 children at Clapham, and our experience there has been overwhelmingly positive. We entered the school after several years of homeschooling, and the transition has been very smooth for us for many reasons. The small class sizes allow for constant teacher-student interaction, and the teachers know the students well. It is understood that each child has their own strengths and weaknesses, and each child is given guidance to grow personally, spiritually and academically. The curriculum is full of rich literature and ideas, and my children love interacting with the topics they are studying. They are inspired to think deeply, to love beauty, to look for God s work throughout history, and to serve others in His name. The school community is warm and welcoming, and the families are involved in school life and enthusiastic about Clapham s mission and methods. The dedicated teachers and staff are very accessible, and have a strong desire to partner with parents in the education of their children. We are confident that our children are daily receiving an excellent education in a healthy, God-honoring environment, and we heartily recommend Clapham School.
Clapham School is great in every respect. From the leadership of Doug Reynolds to the commitment of every teacher and staff member, it is everything a parent could want in a school. Their desire for excellence is rightly couched in a commitment to a lifetime of service for Christ and his kingdom.
We could not be happier with and more grateful for this school. We have a daughter in the 6th grade. She is thriving in the atmosphere that has been created at Clapham, which is a blend of solid Christian identity, classical academics, and Charlotte Mason principles of habit/character formation. The expected outcome is to bring forth men and women who are a force for good and for God in the world. My highest hope is for my daughter to know her God and herself deeply and intimately. I see her education at Clapham as an important, almost decisive, component to that. If any these are things that resonate with your desire for your child(ren), I wholeheartedly commend, without reservation, this school to you.
Clapham is a dream come true for our family. It is everything we could want in its academic rigor, its classical method, and its foundation of shaping hearts and minds to love and serve God in the world. We are so impressed by the quality of the staff and faculty. There is a strong family atmosphere and involvement which allows our children to learn in a community of stellar Christians. We can't say enough good things about Clapham school.
I'm a parent with 4 children at clapham. We love Clapham and have been there since it began. My kids now have an appreciation for the arts and a love of learning.
Clapham School is unlike other area private schools because of its unique model, classical curriculum, strong academics, and vision of a life of service to Christ. My children are gaining a Christian worldview, reading rich literature, learning about all ages of history, and serving others, while loving school, their classmates, and their dedicated teachers.
Clapham Schools' Classical curriculum is second to none in terms of academic excellence. We love that our children's hearts are shepherded first and foremost.
