Eastside provides a very safe environment and the focus of the teachers is simply to provide the best opportunities to learn. The student body is small and there is an overall friendly atmosphere. Although there may be rumors of "bullying," the school administration only can go to a certain extent before the problem must be handled by the student themselves. I currently attend EHS and I enjoy every aspect of the school. The athletic programs give athletes the chance to work hard and rise to the varsity level while the other programs of the school, such as band or choir, give students a fun, extracurricular activity to do after a day of learning.

Eastside butler school all I have is bad comments but the biggest issue is there bullies and how they dont care if u are looking up if ur kid should go there then is is one comment u wouls want to hear not only do they allow bullies but they dont takr charge of doing anythingabout it my nephew started school there this year and he has been getting bullied since day one getting beat up and nothing has happen to those kids now the principle told my sister in law he needs councling bec the bullies riped off his clothes and took his jakets ad tossed it out somewhere in gym but yet all he said is sorry and that he will buy my nephew new clothes and that he needed councling but nothing has yet been done about the bulliesfrom day one..... now my nephew will prolly be going to a different school so this does not happen again the teachers and for the principle need to man up and do there jobs...... not turn the other way they should have contacted my family about this when it happen my family should not have called the school...... and my nephew should not be punnished for something that the bullies done.... no kid should have to go to school and be scared

This school is a good small school if you want to know almost everyone in the school.. the teachers are all very well organized, i am a past student, and enjoyed going here. there were quite a few classes that were not in the ordinary, but i really enjoyed going here.. i would choose this school over others in the area.

The Teachers teach strait out of the books. Ive got one teacher that dont even know how to do what she is teaching and even told us she dont. The only good thing in this school is the older teachers, the ones that dont need a book to teach. The ones that play by the respect rules, and plays it both ways. To bad that they will soon be gone. Im glad im graduating this year, I fear for our school system.

Small school. Good sense of community. It doesn't offer the variety of classes a bigger school can.
