This school is run very poorly and unorganized. They actually allowed a teacher to stay on staff after he physically threatened and cursed a child. This teacher throughout the school year continued to be disrespectful to the children on many levels and despite student and parent complaint nothing has been done. I agree with previous comments that they play favoritism with the discipline. My son has been suspended several times based off hearsay from other children just because they don't like him. I'm not saying my child is perfect, but I expect the discipline he receives to be comparable to the offense, which they have proven is not fair across the board. Not only that, I don't expect my child to be consistently in trouble for he said she said as if a another child is a credible source.
Poor and Fake Education. My child will not be back as I am placing him at another school. Very disorganized and a headache.
Very nice teaching staff, but unorganized. Front office staff is very rude and insults our child. Administrators are never seen or step in to help or are helpful. Teachers are great and I pray for them as they have a tough job and have to take a lot of trash. The discipline is out of control and my child has had his education interupted and nothing ever happens as they are buddies or play sports. My child got 2 days suspended and was not on the team and another kid got detention for the same incident. I was very displeased with this school and one of the reasons I pulled my child out this year. There are no supports for these kids and may as well pay for private or home school as they are just not a school I would never sent any of my children back too. Don't go!!
Coming from a private school the difference in dedication and curriculum is unbelievable. I am greatly pleased with the education my sons are receiving. I also must say Ms. Yoder (kindergarten teacher) is the most wonderful patient teacher I have ecountered. I must say the attention given by the overall staff to myself as a parent is beyond words.
My children just received their first report cards. I was very pleased with their grades! I don't regret now, transferring them to ECUEA! I only look forward to more and more improvements in my children's grades and learning. Thank you ECUEA! Keep it up! God Bless All of You.
My daughter attended this school the first year that it opened in first grade. She was learning about the body equal to my classes for medical assistant in first grade! I was shocked to be able to have my first grader help me study for my medical classes! This is a great school, that just needs to weed out the bad kids and expand. Best school in Northwestern Indiana all around!
