I am very pleased with Maple Creek. After having sent my boys to private schools for 4 years, I was hesitant for the change. They have really enjoyed the wide array of clubs, sports and classes that most private schools cannot offer due to lack of funding.

I am very impressed with NWAC schools. I have multiple children enrolled and the school and the school staff have been fantastic. The kids love the school. The facilities are beautiful. The Life Room is a huge bonus. The band is great and my children each enjoy participating in the different activities. I would recommend this school to anyone with a desire for excellence!

I have had two students at this school, including one currently enrolled as a 7th grader. She is hearing impaired, and was the target of some mild bullying last year. Once they were made aware of it, the administration and faculty put an end to it immediately. I'm not even sure what they did, but it ended right away. The faculty and administration are caring, involved and firm. I couldn't be happier with the middle school experience that both my children received here.

I love going to Maple Creek. I'm in 8th grade and it's my first year. This school is way more frendlier than my old school, and it was a private, Christian one! Despite the fact, that they can be strict at times, I give MCMS five stars because the kids really take you in right away. It's also a very fon school to go to. Rock on!!!

I don't believe this school to be a healthy learning enviroment for my child. he is bullied constantly and with no help from the teachers to stop my son's bulliers. I have called the school, and they said they would take care of it. yet my son is coming home everyday looking as sad as could be. Also some of the teachers tend pick some students more than others my son informed me. This school needs to get its priorities strate

Maple Creek middle School is one of the best schools in the country. It has mostly caring, kind, and considerate teachers, and a very nice school system. The availiblility of music, arts, and sports is a very promosing program. I am a very proud supporter of this school and it's staff.

Maple Creek is an awesome school. Most of the teachers are excellent, professional, caring and dedicated. It is the few that aren't, that the parents always complain about that rank the administration lower than the highest rating. I have had two children at the school and am very pleased with their education and experience. They both have done very well. I have always been treated well as a parent with any questions. I feel my children were always safe, which is a big concern of mine. Discipline is strict, but I believe it to be fair. I do believe some opportunities may be lost, especially in the extracurriclar areas to maintain that strict safety and discipline policy. All in all, a great school.

Our rating (from 1 to 10) reflects a school's overall performance. The higher the rating, the more likely the school will prepare your child for the future, so choose an above-average school (8-10) if possible. For average schools (4-7), do careful research and look for evidence that the school has high-quality programs. For below-average schools (1-3), take caution; a low-performing school may not provide the instruction or environment your child needs to learn, and you may need to supplement classroom lessons at home.

Academic rating

The academic rating is made up of equally-weighted parts: students' test scores, their academic growth (for elementary and middle schools) and their readiness for college (for high schools). The graphs below compare this school's results in each area to other schools in the city and state. Growth and college readiness ratings are coming soon, pending publication of 2012 data.
