Washington TWP has a problem with both entitlement and racism. There is a staff member / administrator who, when she doesnt' get what she wants or feels she has been slighted, uses her position to cry racism, and I have to question what that teaches the children in this district. I would avoid this Township if at all possible.
Westlane is a very creative school and i'm happy i've been there for my years of middle school!
It's an awesome school! I'm happy to be a student there! The teachers are great at helping me out! It's does have some downers though.
Westlane is unique in many ways, the teachers are all special and usually knowledgeable in their field.

I attended this school 30 years ago and to have my daughter enjoy going to school as much as I did is fantastic! The diverse make up of the school simulates the real world. The teachers and staff are like family and the principal creates a positive community with the students and understands teenagers when their parents sometimes cannot. She is extraordinarily dynamic!
The best school I've come across. I see a smile every time the bus gets home! The teachers are fun but at the same time disciplined! The principal is playful and rule-setting! Everything is great!!!
Energetic and efficient teachers, under the supervision of a carismatic principal. The best middle school to be prepared to North Central High School in my opinion.
