New Palestine High School4

I went to New Palestine five years ago. I grew up in the community as the community expanded from a country town to a well-developed suburb. All the students were accepting and multi-talented, most participating in multiple extra-curricular activities. I recieved excellent grades as a Freshman and was given the opportunity for advancement in order to be challenged. In the end, I completed my Junior and Senior year at the same time, graduating a year early. This would not have been possible at other schools. There is a lack of diversity, but the issues of racism and discrimination are being worked on by the school, including such programs as LGBT club. Also, as in any high school, drugs and alcohol can be a problem. However, I don't believe that that is the fault of the schools, as it is not tolerated. The school could use better instructors and programs for teaching some of the ellectives, but no such thing could be said for the core courses. The maths, sciences, english and history teachers and curriculm are immacculate and well prepared to challenge a student at any level of education.
This is a great school in a great location. The only thing that needs to be addressed is the Foreign Language curriculum. Our students cannot compete on the college level - more conversational spanish classes need to be implemented.
Well I think that this school isnt very diverse..But it is a pretty good school. They have good opertunities.New palestine will get diversity in the future but thats what keeps a school stronf diffrent types of people
