I am a parent of lstudents who have attended Zion Lutheran. We came to Zion when our children were in 2nd and 7th grades. Our children were welcomed by the faculty, staff, and students. Is believe Zion fulfills their mission of serving, teaching, and educating children. Our children have grown in their relationship with Christ, they have been strengthened in their relationships, and have been taught above and beyond the basics of general education. Families at Zion are encouraged and invited to be a part of the education through online communication, newletters, and invitations to volunteer in the school. I encourage parents to consider making a choice for their children by visiting Zion Lutheran and seeing if your child will benefits from a Christian education.

Hi, I am a student at Zion, and I think overall Zion is a wonderful school in all aspects. Students can play sports, and for the 6-8 graders you can go to dances with the other lutheran schools, and participate in clubs, so there is all ways something fun to do. The school work isn't hard if you ask questions and pay attention in class. I also think the teachers are excellent! They can give you individual attention that you sometimes cannot recieve in public schools.

I am a parent of three children that attend Zion Lutheran and also a past student. In the 22 years that I have grown-up as a student and now as a parent, I have always enjoyed Zion. The teachers are excellent! The school is small enough so the children get the attention they need, and they also learn the most important thing of all, who God is. I would recommend Zion to anyone.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

What is the GreatSchools Rating?

The GreatSchools rating is a simple tool for parents to compare schools based on test scores, student academic growth, and college readiness. It compares schools across the state, where the highest rated schools in the state are designated as “Above Average” and the lowest “Below Average.” It is designed to be a starting point to help parents make baseline comparisons. We always advise parents to visit the school and consider other information on school performance and programs, as well as consider their child's and family's needs as part of the school selection process.
