Akron Westfield Middle School

I do think the school has a lot of activities for the kids, but what the main focus should be is education and providing a safe environment for our children to learn. The school is suppose to have a no bullying policy, but yet when kids get into fights nothing is done. From what I can see they just 'Hope' the problem will go away. It seems that there is not one standard form of punishment for each kind of offense, which there should be considering there is a hand book.

Dawson, I didn't know you were a parent! I thought you were still in middle school. Personally, I think the principal should spend more time helping the students learn.

I think this school is full of activities and I think the teachers have great ideas for the students. The great thing about this school is that all the parents try to help out in some way, weather it is with sports or music. Since the beggining of the year the school has shown some improvment with discipline but I think they still need to show better ways to discipline the children of all ages. The principals in this school have shown a great lead in trying to protect the cihldren in every way possible. So I would say the overall quality is great in this school.
