Fellows provides outstanding opportunities for students to become involved in their school, through both academic learning and extracurricular activities. The administration is efficient and helpful, and the teachers are extremely well-qualified.

When I went to Fellows, I was always treated with respect. I believe that the teachers and staff really care about the children and learning. They had great drama, art, and music programs there, and many parents are involved in fundraisers as well as understanding the child's needs through parent-teacher-conferences.

Fellows School is the biggest elementary school in Ames. There are a lot of teachers to help you suceed. Even though the classes can hold a lot of people you can do great when you try. The teachers aren't always nice though. One of my brother's teachers yelled at them. Some teachers don't care if another kid has been bothering you. Some are impatient, others are very sweet. It all depends. You do PE but they don't offer sports you have to do them through the city. Parents are involved in raising $$$.
