This school offers great teachers that can identify potential problems with students and create a learning plan to assist them in reaching their full potential. The amount of parent involvement is simply amazing. To see so many dedicated parents volunteer their time to help the community is wonderful. In terms of public education in the Des Moines metro area, you simply won't find a better school or district.

Positives - clean and organized Negatives - we were hoping our child would get a better education in the Ankeny school district and that has not been our experience at this school. We have not been impressed with the staff and wish we would've made a better selection for our child. I agree with the other reviewer that this is not a positive learning environment. We are disappointed to say the least.

We had a great experience here. The facilities and teaching staff are excellent. There are many opportunities for parent involvement both in the child's classroom as well as in the school itself. I am a proud Northeast parent!

Politics run throughout this school district and especially so in this elementary effecting everything negatively including that of the students academic success. Look to the smaller elementaries for a more family oriented atmosphere and positive learning enviroment.

Parental involvement is increasing and a wonderful new leader is taking us to new levels using the theme 'Whatever it Takes!' Stay tuned for an incredible year that will be unlike any other I have experienced. The positive energy in the building is at a new high.
