Ruby Van Meter serves middle school, high school, and transition aged students with significant intellectual disabilities. The enrollment is a team decision, rather than neighborhood school boundary lines. A great many activity opportunities exist for students here and all activities have a focus on academics first, and life skills second. The extensive support system at this school allows medical and behavioral needs to be met in a structured way and the caring staff are amazing.
