My child has attended the Fort Madison School district since 1st grade and has really enjoyed his first year at the High School. There are lots of activities and all the teachers really seem to care for all of their students, not just a few privileged kids.
There is a spot for everyone to fit in. There is an opportunity to take college classes, some classes are simple while others are difficult, there is a wide variety of everything here what keeps it fun and interesting.
I rate this school an average because it dosn't have alot of classes to choose from and the teachers need to relax. don't be to strict
This school has been a big disappointment. There are few accelerated learning opportunities. It is at best mediocre currently. It has given none of the advantages of a huge school, with all of the disadvantages. The school board places a premium on low salaries and taxes. Litte thought is given to quality education. The administration does little excertion to coach the teachers for better performance.
