North Mahaska is definitely a top quality school. My children have had excellent teachers at North Mahaska. The teachers actually care how the children are doing and always have time to help. Another thing that has helped is the current Principal. She is amazing and has done great things for the school. With her leadership, I think the children have the chance to do anything.

This is a great school. The teachers are fabulous. When my children first started going to this school the school psychologist helped them fit in by having special lunches with them. My child and their special lunch pal(from their class) for the day would get to eat lunch with the psychologist. This eased their way into the social aspect of the school. The teachers are never too busy for a conference with the parents even if it is impromtu. They are very caring and have the childrens best interest at heart. They are willing to go the extra mile for each and every child whether it be academically or emotionally. They also make learning fun. My children love to go to school. They come home from school excited about everything they learned that day. The administration is also wonderful. They are very helpful and caring, also.
