Southeast scored in the Top 3 of the CNC league on ALL of their state-assessments in 2010 & is now a Standard of Excellence school. The leadership at Southeast High School is greater than any school I have witnessed. There has been an influx of young, energetic teachers who truly care about the students they see on a daily basis. The attitude & culture have changed dramatically since I went to this school 6 years ago. The students are friendly & well-behaved. Their is a positive & inviting culture created by the staff & carried on by the student body.
Southeast High School has a good core group of teachers who care about students and their academic success. It is not the most academically challenging school, but it does a good job of providing the basic foundation given its size and resources. The kids at the school are open and friendly.
