I love Jefferson Elementary! The principal is awesome! He is very caring and very involved with the kid and all the school activities. Overall the teachers are wonderful. Of course you are always going to have a couple of teachers that are not well liked, however the others are wonderful. Parent involvement is very much welcomed and encouraged. The PTO is amazing!! They do LOTS of great activities throughout the year for the kids! They provide the school with a lot of ammenities they would otherwise not have. And they are very much open to suggestions! I highly recommend Jefferson Elementary School!

The special education department needs to update to this century. Change is not only a scary word, but an impossible one.

I have 3 kids in Jefferson a 5th grade daughter, 2nd grade son, and a daughter in pre-k. We have so much school spirit here that brings all the kids together. A child that wants to go to school everyday has a greater chance of doing well!! The support we get from the Principle, teachers, and other faculty members is amazing. You can't help but want to be involved with everything we have going on! Keep up the great work we couldn't ask for anything more!!
