I absolutely love Woodland's teachers and staff! I love that there is a feeling of community its not just a place to leave my kids while I go to work. Its a place the kids feel safe, secure, and loved. The school is growing but it is still keeping that small school feel, most of the teachers know most of the kids whether they are in their class or not. The school offers a lot of opportunities that other schools don't they have a work out room open for families to use together, they offer a monthly exercise class for kids and parents to do together taught by a YMCA instructor. They have a snack program new this year that all the kids are offered a fresh fruit or vegetable snack a couple times a week and they offer a multivitamin to all kids over the age of 6 with parental and doctors consent. Woodland is a great place and I am happy to have my kids there.

This is an outstanding school! Teachers strive to meet the needs of every student. The students at Woodland have a structured, nuturing enviornment. All staff including art, music, library, and PE are incredible! I have been in many schools and this is a great place for children. The Eat, Exercise, and Excel program here gives students more time to exercise and they get to eat lunch with their teacher and classmates in a relaxed atmosphere. Woodland's excellent scores are a reflection of the work that is occuring. If you want personal attention, caring and highly trained staff, and want to be involved in your student's education this is the school you want!

Although this has been our second year at this school we are especially unhappy with its new direction this year. The class sizes are very good, but it seems the teachers have a lot of substitues, because the teachers are out a lot for training, planning or whatever.
