I think that this school is good. my fave teacher is Mrs. Meghan Bowling! (:
Owsley County high school was terror for me. Even though I graduated in the top 5 of my class, I was still unprepared for college. The school is ran by a biased system in which the Principal can overrule the decisions of the site base decision making council. The math program, while good for lower education, has no upper math classes like Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Calculus, or the like. I was totally unprepared for college...though, my math score was quite high due to my basic algebra and geometry skills. The best two departments at this school would be History (under the instruction of Paul Green), and English.
