This is a great school for children. It's safe and protective.

I have 3 children in the school. It has the best academic program in the area. Very comparable to the big schools in Glasgow. This school is the best in the school district. If you want your child involved in extra curricular activities, you don't have a lot of options. The school wants parent involvement, but does not always give timely notice of meetings. Again this is the best school in the entire district.

I'm not a parent, just a former student. There's always someone asking me how this school compares to the other districts around it. I would have to say this is a very basic and simple school. If you want your child to know the basics and get the minimal chances there are this is a gr8 choice. However, if you are looking for a school for your child to excel in sports or in school, find another place. Examples of this would be the limited number of extra curricular activities offered. Also, if in high school, other schools offer more advanced classes that offer college credit. And technology? Yeah they have the classes but do they really teach you anything?

This is a nice, friendly and small community. My family moved here 4 years ago and I have 3 children, 2 of which are in the school system already. My oldest has had a great academic experience here and has been encouraged to excel. My second child ha a birth related learning disability and has had a few problems thus far in the school. This schools biggest problems may be the lack of appropriate discipline and ability to truly help disadvantaged children. There is not enough communication between teacher, parent, principal, etc. and I tend to find out things on my own, much later than it should be. The only other problem I have with my community is the lack of extracurricular activities for these children, small community or not. The school does a deplorable job of encouraging sports or programs after school and does not hand out information at all.
