I have had three children that have attended this school. The teachers at this school go above and beyond the call of duty. They care so much for the children and it shows. I have never felt disrespected, nor felt that my opinion didn't matter at Earlington. This school is full of Pride and Spirit. I would not have sent my children anywhere else in the world to elementary school, than at Earlington Elementary. The Staff, the teachers are the best!!

I have found Earlington school to be a negative experience. The teachers play favorites with the students. Teachers at Earlington utilize inappropriate discipline strategies such as withholding extracurricular activities from students who demonstrate difficulty with academic performance. Finally, input from parents is not welcome nor respected.

About the tests

In 2010-2011 Kentucky used the Kentucky Core Content Tests (KCCT) to assess students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 through 12 in reading, social studies, science, writing, and math. The Elementary School results displayed on GreatSchools profiles are for grades 3 through 5 combined for each subject. Middle School results are for grades 6 though 8 combined, and High School results are for grades 10 though 12 combined. The KCCT is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Kentucky.
