i recently graduated from southern, and truthfully i wouldnt send my child there. the academics aren't that great either. Generally, the teacher-student relationships are awesome, sometimes the teachers are more of your friends, I believe the Administration cares more about the dresscode than your education. The sports...well; We were good at baseball and softball, everything else was a shame. the school spirit is almost non existant, but the rival between the junior and senior class is well heated. the only reason i loved SHS was because of my friends. If youre looking for an academic school, keep looking.
