We recently were shopping for a house in the Southside Elementary school district for our three, soon to be four, school-aged children due to the marvelous reviews we had heard from the community we were renting in (previously homeschooled). We would not settle for anything that would set us outside of the school's perimeters! We were so happy when we found one and were able to enroll our children for 2011-12 school year. For our children's first school experience we were a bit nervous but Southside Elementary as a whole as done an exceptional job with aiding in our kids' education. Principal Susan Burkheart is a fine leader, keeping with the developmental times. We are more than pleased with each teacher and not worried about the next. We are thankful for what the staff has done for our family already!
