Berwick High School

I feel that half of these people below have not idea what they are talking about. Berwick High is a great place and I look forward to going to school every day. Almost all of the teachers care about everyone in the classroom and personally- they always say I'm here if you need me, etc. Also, our principal truly cares about our school and makes great decisions based on all the students. Many people downgrade our principal, but I feel there is no reason to; she is a great woman, leader, and person to look up to. Some of our sports teams are not the best, but we excel in many- softball, baseball, tennis, swim, dance team, etc, but sports shouldn't factor a school, the education should. Our school offers many great types of classes, as well as dual-enrollment that gets you college credit- many schools do not have this. The clubs and activities at this school excel, and we have a great variety so that every student has a place to fit it. Berwick High School is a family; everyone care for everyone and no one is left behiend.

Berwick is a great community to live in and to raise a family in. Our school has great parents and great kids and THAT IS what makes our school great!! The administration cares about one thing and one thing only...test scores. The students that struggle are ignored or even pushed out, all so that test scores will remain high. How sad when teachers and administrators could make a difference in the life of a struggling teenager but don't because they don't quite meet their standards.

berwick is not a great school,in my opinon.they may be acedemicly sound,a little,but their sports programs are horrible.since the day i was born their football team has never beaten patterson's,and they seldomly beat them at any other sport too!but like i said,thats my opinon,so you can think what you want.but in my mind,they are not better than patterson,or any other local school.

This is the only school in the parish that offers five advanced placement classes and other dual credit classes for our kids. This school is about learning and that is what schools should be about.

Beware outsiders. Small town mentality here. Great School if you were born here. Teachers are good, but kids here are clannish. I am a graduate of this school over 35 years, things have really changed.

I'm am an 'old' graduate of more than 30 years ago. This school was academically sound 'way' back then and continues to be. The staff was always stable; small teacher turnover. Forget the small town issue, this is a wonderful place to learn!

We have great teachers here. Each one of them are very helpful. I am currently a senior here at Berwick High. If you may not know most senior being slack off and let their grades fall. Our teachers have made sure are always on our toes and working our hardest to be the best young adults we can be. Berwick high has very diverse individuals.

For a smaller school, Berwick is as good as it gets. The town is wonderful. It full of subdivisions that are constanly developing.In academics Berwick thrives.We rank 7th in the state with the elementary ahead of us.The teachers get better as the you progress from grade to grade.Anyone who loves the arts should go to Berwick.The band was Class A champions for three years in a roll and continues to get bigger and better.The school offers great art, choir, drama,dance, and other creative classes.The girls sports are constantly pushing their limits.The softball team was state champ in 2003. Berwick offer a variety of different sports to please everyone.If you're thinking about moving, think Berwick!
