After being a former student at this place that they call a school. I can say that is by far the worst school I've attended. Their principal (at the time I was enrolled in this school). Was mean and treated me like a was an inmate at a prison. All I can say is I hated my three years at Mandeville Middle School. And also, school uniforms don't help the students, it makes them more rebellious. Students should be allowed to express themselves not be tied down to a stupid blue dress shirt and pants.

I would rate this school as quality, but excellent is a bit of a stretch. My son's special ed, and I get almost no information from his teachers unless I pretty much beat down the door. I do not find administration to be very different from other St. Tammany Parish middle schools, and the almost obsessive focus on LEAP testing (teaching the test) to be somewhat detrimental to the quality of education in most of our middle schools.

very satisfied with this school. staff is excellent and encourages parental involvement. teachers and principal very accessible. music and art are part of the curriculum, and administrators constantly reach to exceed educational standards. very pleased.
