This is a great school!There is nothing else like it. It does have its faults but all around good schhol. teachers are great, principal awsome and u just cant beat that tiger spirit!!!!!! and the Baesbal team is the best in tho state!!!! Go Tigers

The quality of academic programs is rapidly dropping. The extracurricular activities could be much better if there was more support from facutly and school board on them. The parents of the parish attempt to get involved, but there is only so much parents can do without the support of the main administrative heads. Overall, the school could be much improved, but there is not enough support from the school board to want to make things better.

Excellent school. Extremely well rounded educational opportunity. Children are allowed to interact without being lorded over at every opportunity. There is a reason why som many former apcs students and their parents chose to leave after the 8th grade and return to marksville. Look for test scores to rise in proportion to the return of these students. Despite the struggles od the local school board mhs is a success.

The school is fine but the classes are crowded and the school is outdated. There is no discipline students just run wild almost everyday there is a fight and this is not a good learning enviroment.

Great learning atmosphere. Cares a lot about students. Best high school in Avoyelles Parish.

Wonderful school, staff, kids and parents. A joy to teach there. Awaiting enrollment to increase to return to the best school in the state.
