I have been going to this school for 6 going on 7 years. This school has great extra curricular activities. This school is moving to a cleaner and safer environment next school year. I am excited to see it.

I don't even know where to begin. This is the absolute worse display I have seen of professionalism in a school. Most of the teachers and administrators don't seem to care much. My daughter came home and told me that she was told by a teacher "I am only here for a pay check and I do not care if you pass or fail". With leaders like this guiding the students they don't stand a chance. I have seen improvements in other areas this year such as their dismissal process. This school should be utilized as a last resort with no other options especially since it was assigned a letter grade of D by the local newspaper.

Milestone SABIS Academy has a great curriculum because they teach above level work. However most of the staff are not teachers and do not teach the work, but lecturing is a specialty. How can most children from no public schools survive a curriculum like this successfully? They cannot. The teachers are new and fresh, but have no clue how to deal with much less teach the children. I was very dissapointed to find that. It could be a good school if it were not for these very important abscenses. The director is pleasant, but does not take to criticism well. Instead she turns the situation around on the parent.

This school, I would not recommend for the children(most) in the local metro area because the teachers and staff do not work with the children at their abilities. Either you catch on or you fail. No in betweens. When talking with the director about it,...falls on deaf ears. Inexperienced teachers who cannot manage, nor understand needy black children is a problem as well.

The vision of the curriculum is comparable to many top notch schools, hence the reason I kept my daughter in the school. However, the lack of professionalism and discipline (proactive discupline, not reactive) bothers me. The programs offered at the school are geared toward producing highly productive children, and some of them reflect this notion. However, there are some students who are detrimental to this program and take away from the intrinsic value the program has to offer. These children are being facilitated by lackluster faculty and staff and are not meeting my expectations. MSANO really needs to get it together to keep my child enrolled.

MSANO has high expectations for my children's learning. They have good discipline and the teachers at the school help my children work toward achieving their full potential. I am thankful that my children have the opportunity to go to a school with such high standards and receive excellent education.

My children has attended Sabis Milestone since the 2nd grade and I've always enjoyed the structure of the school. As a concerned parent, I don't believe this past school year 2006-2007 was productive. I think since the Hurricane a lot has happened to the student body and the staff. I hope this coming school year 2007-2008 will show improvement in all areas.

I am highly disappointed in this school. My daughter will not be returning on next year. Over the past few months I have seen no consistency and very little professionalism in the school. It does not live up to its mission or the commercial that was aired. The curriculum is totally different from normal public schools and has not met my expectations. She will nor return on next year because now I see some of the reviews I've read are true.

There are teachers who has a good relationship with parents and has control in the classroom; student are being educated. My students are in kindergarten and third grade. The one in kindergarten has progress a lot, she can read and it is not half year yet.The school is not for students who need one-to-one teaching or special education. Parents stop complaining and start helping your child and the teacher to educate your child. This school has many activities for the parents, students and family. Its the same few families that comes out and support the activities.Think about what you can do.

I am a new parent at this school and I have read all of the other reviews written by other parents. I must say that my experience thus far would cause me to agree with everything that has been written. Milestone has the potential to offer an educational and extracurricular opportunities that would cause others schools to envy them. However, the school seems to be mostly staffed with individuals who (unfortunately) take a defensive stance when any type of inquiry is made. I would also like to add that my child has also complained about teachers 'fussing' at the students. Mrs. Watson and others in charge should give adequate attention to these types of issues to help further the goals and purpose of the school. Please note that I am an involved parent!
