I think Calvary is a great school academicly, but they are seriously lacking on communication. I totally disagree with pre-3 &4 being suspended or having Saturday detention "these are kids" there should be other approaches to discipline. They teach the children to do what God wants us to do, but if a child forgets their lunch ay home they will not give the child a hot meal only water and a pack of crackers because they did not pay for a $3.50 lunch. That is not of GOD AT ALL. Calvery has the Abeka program just like the rest of the private schools. It is all about the money!

I was referred to this school by other parents and the teachers seem attentive and personable, but the before and after school program is lacking. The fee schedule is confusing, they do not account for actual time only what you will be charged for, and if you question anything they bite your head off, not respectful to parents at all. I understand and appreciate rules, but there is a huge power trip going on here and the principal was not eager to assist so . . . keep up with when you actually drop off and pick up your child in case something would happen and probably good ideal to check your bill cause director may be taking advantage of your busy and rushed schedule. . . which is not not what we pay them for.

My children both attend Calvary and I am very impressed with the schools carriculum and teachers. I have one small complaint, this is one of my daughters second year @ Calvary and she struggled some what at the beginning of the year. We were having communication problems with her teacher due to not following up on notes. I then went to the principle about the issue My husband and I have both spoken with him. I would have felt better if he would have at least given us a call to see how things were going. Besides this incident Calvary is the best!

My son was in public school in this area during k and 1st grade. He was learning absolutely nothing. I put him in Calvary and although he was so behind due to public school he did great. It took a lot of hard work to catch him up to speed but it has paid off. My son is now in 3rd grade and makes nothing but A's B's. My son will go to Calvary thru middle school.I only wish that they had high school but I do here that they are trying to work on that. I love this school and so does my son.

I am shocked to read some of the reviews today. I just moved here with my two children and was not impressed with the public schools and the fact that they are so behind in there curriculum my daughter was given kindergarten work in 2nd grade. We put her at Calvary Baptist and I couldn't be happier. She is learning things she wouldn't have learned till 3rd. She is doing well and we love her teacher and feel she is getting the help with things like she should being the classes are smaller. There are a few things missing that I would love for the school to have, but impressed with what it is already! I would tell anyone this!
