I had my infant go here for a couple of months. The people are very nice and seem to love kids, but I could not trust my infant with them.
They began feeding him things we hadn't provided or were ever asked about. Some things we did not want him to eat since he was a baby, but they kept feeding it to him anyway while telling me they weren't. How can I trust my infant with people who lie? Every time what he ate would come up, they acted like I wasn't feeding my baby any food or providing them enough. But every time they asked me to bring more food, I did. The lies got so far that if what they were claiming was true, then there was at least 1 day a week where they gave him no fluids or food. Obviously, there is something I wasn't being told.
They cannot handle the slightest push back. When we calmly asked that he not be given junk food, they would say how we were "So upset." Basically acting as though we freaked out. But even so, they kept giving him junk food right up to the last week my baby was there. When my husband talked to them about the junk food, they told him I was lying.
They are not good at communication. Multiple times I had to tell them the same things every day because they kept asking the same questions every day. Or if I would speak to one person, they would communicate something entirely different to the teachers. It was so frustrating.
I also did not feel comfortable that they do not strap babies into the high chairs.
They really are friendly people, but I just can't say that I got the impression that they are capable of caring for babies. And I was disturbed at how willing to lie or accuse me of lying they were. Maybe they are better with bigger kids. I can't recommend them for infants.
The people at Kids First really love children! My son has been going to Kids First since he was 8 weeks old and they are like family to him. They are generous, kind, and attentive. The children learn so much. My son is 1.5 years old and is already trying to sing his ABC's. When I say 1, he says 2. I cannot say enough good things about this place. He gets excited to go to daycare each morning. That's the best review a Mom can get. :)
Horrible. Place wouldn't. Let them watch my dog owner only worried. About them self. And not the condition. Of the school or employees. That work for them everything. Is outdated. And not up to code worst. Day care in slidell
