I didn't even want to give this school 1 star, a few of the staff members are rude, the principle isn't involved in anything with the school, she never return any of my calls, I have made many complaints about my child teacher in front of her and she always dismissed herself in her office. The staff goes to school dressed any kind of way. I had a conference with my child teacher and she walked in with hickies on her neck, she's the worst teacher I have ever encountered, she's never at school, her class is out of control she doesn't teach the class right, I really feel that she doesn't care. The kids at that school are suffering while their worried about fun raiders and dress down days, the principle is worried about the boys with Mohawks in their hair while they have the worst rankings. Their are a few teachers who are awesome. The others are just their to collect a pay check. Ive talked to several 1st grade teachers and we all feel the same way. I'm going to remove my child from that school A.S.A.P. I'm fed up with the school. Do yourself a huge favor and do NOT enroll your child their. Sincerely , a mother who wants the best for her child.

This school has some great staff and teachers in it given there are a few staff members that need to be gone especially that use the N word to the children! The principal needs to be demoted to an assistant. We were all redistricted to this school and it is horrible.I don't feel like my child or my children were ever safe. After this year my little one will no longer attend this school.Look at the scores! I have dealt with the principle many times that is pointless. She doesn't respond back to phone calls.....Bottom line they need to either shut that school down or get a new principal that is willing to change it around like they did at henry ford!

I find that the mission and the success of this school is in alignment, however I feel that all of the teachers are not giving a full committment to the educational success of the students

This school is an Unacceptable school. To many kids get hurt, call each other names, and do unacceptable things. My Daughter went there in 09 and she said there was Inappropriate so i took a look for myself and it was worse than i thought. No one should be allowed in this school.

This school has done a lot for my child. A lot is offered for children who exceed expectations.

This school used to be a very good school. It has fail back a great deal. my son is in 1st grade and is not learning a thing. The principal seems to care more about her appearance than the students. Although I must give credit to ms. Raymond she seems to really care for those kids. They need more like her in the system.
