Both the Telstar teachers and the building is dated. Very few electives are offered. If you are AP/honors or special education you get all the support you need, otherwise fend for yourself. For a small school, more should be expected from teachers who contiune to lecture most of the time.

Telstar is a very good school. It offers many AP courses and plenty of honors courses for students to try out. The students and the faculty is very friendly. The cliques here, if any, are few and everyone is receptive and you get to know everyones name. The Prinicpal is awesome and spends alot of time within the school. I highly suggest this school for anyone within its vicinity.

Telstar is a better high school than most people give it credit to be. Telstar has had students graduate and go to some of the best schools, such as harvard. All that you have to do to succeed in this school like any other school is try your hardest. Telstar is also a great school for the reason that there aren't many students so you do get to know teachers and fellow classmates on a more personal level.
