The size of the school is small and a very close-knit feeling exists between teachers and students. The test scores are high, and the school rates high in standings.

Very pleased parent! I am always more than welcome at Bay Ridge! I often go into the classroom unannounced and I have never felt like I was not welcome. The teachers are wonderful and do a great job teaching the children. If anyone looks at the MEA tests they would be very impressed with this school and the teachers. I volunteer at the school with everything they do and the teachers appreciate it very much. We have a wonderful small school where our teachers are commited to the job they do. I would recomend this school to anyone! Thank you Bay Ridge for all you do!

Suggestion for Concerned Mother: I am assuming when you say services you might be referring to special education services? Don't know how much you have researched this, but you can request to have your child evaluated which the school will pay for and if you are having difficulty, contact your state department of education, special services department and ask for their assistance. Unless you have done so already, you will have to advocate constantly for you child and site the state regulations to them. It might be they don't have staff qualified but that is no excuse.

We are having great difficulties in receiving services for my child. The school does not like to have parents come in and volunteer their time and they do not make you feel welcomed! Choose another school within the district!!
