We have had excellent teachers who have all been very attentive, professional, and caring. A very high ratio of parent involvement. Principal is always very accessible and helpful; takes a lot of pride in his school and truly cares about the children he serves. With children from age 8 to 20, we've been through many schools, and overall, Durham is one of the best schools we've seen in our travels across the country.

Great kids and lots of parental involvement. They are building a new facility to open 2010 that looks great. Still, it lacks a warm feeling. Secretaries are cold and some teachers stiff and unfriendly. But not all. Principal is lovely and accademic prgram seems sound.
