Poly is highly overrated! Most teachers I found were incompetent and not as good as I had expected. Also, I never found that Poly academically challenged me. In 9th grade we read ONE BOOK the whole year. I left Poly and never regretted that decision.

I love this school alot but I just think its being a little overrated... Poly is the one of the Best Highschools in the state but its not all that. I love the challenges it brings to the table but hate how they try to full you with alot of work and TONS of homework.

This is the best school, by far, that I have visited. Their STEM program trailblazes for other high school programs across the country.

Poly is the best school ever! They offer you the best opportunities and their classes are very challenging, which is very good and helps prepare you for college.

im so confused!!!!! ive had uniform all my school life and i hate it, thats one reason im considering BCC and because its close to my house. But....poly seems to be a better choice, cirriculum wise. but im soooo tired of uniform and i want to be free. :(

Poly has a challenging curriculum, remember students 20 years out of school and they remember you. Prepares students for the world at large. Poly teaches you more than just the basics.

i currently attend baltimore polytechnic institue and i love the school! the dicipline is strict but nobady seems to mind most lawyers,doctors,enginerers, and scienctist come from poly! Poly is a school anychild would be proud of it has involved students lots of after school ciricula activities for any student whit diffrent intrest next year i am becoming a senior and i cant wait

Polytechnic has long served the local and national community with its graduates who became top engineers, physicians, military leaders, politicians, professional athletes, producers, bankers, true innovators throughout industry, rocketry and education. Begun as a feeder school for the U.S. Naval Academy, Poly is steeped in engineering sciences and requires excellence for teaching staff and students.

I currently attend Balti more Polytechnic Institute. Im A freshman, soon to be sophmore. Poly is a very challenging school, and it is definetely preparing me for college. As long as I stay focused, and stay on task, I will suceed at Poly. At times, I wish that we had more freedom and rewards but overall Poly really is a great school, and I cant wait until we start school again in August!

The school places academics above all else, teaches personal responsibility, and has outstanding facilities and acsess to teachers. The curriculum is challenging and grading is fair.

Poly's curriculum is great, but it needs to change. It needs to be even more challenging. Teachers really need to drill things into their students' heads in all subjects. Today, I hear it is better than it was for graduates of the class of 2005 and I hope so, because truly looking back, it wasn't that great, although if I was writing this as a high school student, I'd give Poly a 5. But I'm entering my 3rd year of college.

I am a senior at poly, and over the past 4 years this school has improved to an even greater high quality place of learning. Poly offers many rigorous curriculums that will enhance a child's learning capacity. As, a senior I am able to guide the underclassmen through the basics and what will help them to succeed here.

i got to Poly and it is nice. The teachers put students to a high standard and the students nearly always rise to and excell above that standard.

When my daughter was in middle school she was never challenged academically and often teased about being smart. Not so at Poly. She is very happy there because she is with kids who are as driven and focused as she. Through Poly's rigorous curriculum and dedicated teachers she is finally being challenged.Teachers are very involved with the students. They stay after for coach classes. Many teachers are coaches and club sponsors of the extra-curricular activities offered. There is a real feeling of belonging at the school. Students are very proud of the fact that they go to the best school in the state of Maryland and will not do anything to tarnish that image.Poly provides a private school education on a public school budget. Poly students are accepted by some of the most prestigious universities in the country. I wouldn't have my child anywhere else. It's the best!

I am currently a Junior at BPI and it's a great school. Almost my entire 8th grade class entered Poly in our freshman year. Dr. Wilson is a great principal and has really done a lot to raise the standards of the school. He is an excellant leader. However, even an axcellant leader can't turn a bad school into a good, so Poly speaks for itself. Poly is THE BEST Baltimore City School, public or private. If you ask me, it's the best in the state. Poly is big on academics, athletics, and other extra - curriculars. It is the perfect school for anyone who likes anything, and everyone likes at least something. Poly's atmoshpere is amazing and I interact with students of all grade levels.

I go poly and it is a great school. Although it's class a very hard if you go to coach class your teacher can help you. 94 Percent of poly students get accepted to college all in all if i had a kid i would push him to go to bpi a blue ribbon school of excellence.

My son is a senior about to graduate from Poly and loving every day. We live in Baltimore County and pay for him to attend Poly. The education received cannot be compared to any other school in MD. When he applied to colleges, he was accepted at every one based on his academics.

When I first came to poly I was already an intelligent person but I wasn't very organized and know I am. Poly also shwed me the many different types of people in the world and it is showing me so much about everything dealing with life.
