The teachers are okay. Most of the children don't really care about their education because of the way teachers grade them. I remember getting straight 100's on my report card for doing poor work and not turning in assignments. IF THEY WOULD ACTUALLY GRADE BASED ON GRADES MAYBE THE CHILDREN WOULD WANT TO TRY AND LEARN SOMETHING. WHEN THEY GO INTO THE REAL WORLD THEY WON'T KNOW ANYTHING OR WON'T BE ON THE SAME LEVEL AS THE OTHERS. The grading was some real B.S though and the way the staff spoils the kids is horrible :\ - Student @ GGK

george Kelson has a new administrator who is focused on the students success. There have been positive measurable changes this school year. The behavior issues are not as prevelant. Students have been reassessed and placed according to academic needs. With more parent involvement this school could be even better.

In my opinion this school is lacking student discipline. Students disrespect teachers and other students on a daily basis and nothing constructive is done. This is really the parents fault for their childrens behavior. But the school also needs to promote better behavior for a better learning atmosphere... And I truly think that it was a really bad idea to add middle school to this elementary school. The older children don't make the school any better.
