I love Northwood Elementary. The teachers work hard with their students to make sure they suceed. I loooooooove the choir also, they sing beautifully for our Father above.
My daughter loves being a Northwood Tiger and being in Mrs. Dunn's Pre-K class. Her teacher is always very informative and always sends home
This is my sons first year at Northwood and I am more than pleased with his Teacher Mrs. Dunn! She has turned my son's mindset about school completely around. My husband & I are so greatful that there are teachers out there like her that care about the children!
The entire staff is very supportive and seems to care about the well being of the students.
I've heard of Northwood having a great rating before we enrolled our son last September. I am really satisfied with Northwood and the staff....our son loves it there. Keep up the good work!!
This is my child's second month at Northwood. We are very happy with the school. The school is run in a very professional manner. Mrs. Adams is a very good prncipal
The principal and the teachers are dedicated to the well being of each student.
I am very pleased with Northwood Elementary and their principle Mr. English. This is now my daughter's second year and she is happy and learning a lot. They are a great support to my family and educating my child. I am very excited about Northwood!
I now have three kids in this school, and I once attended. This school to me is execellent. This school has and advance academic(ingenuity) program which refer you or try to give you an outlet of middle schools to attend and a tutoring after school program. The only negative thing I could say is that they have teacher who are still teaching sence I was there (1977)that may not have enough tolerence for theese baby boomers. Unfortunately one of my kids didn't follow the same footsteps as another child with teachers. She was selected to go to a teacher who was more concern about discipline then teaching. I'm not the only parent who notice this . The new Principle is down to earth and make you feel like your a part of his own family. MR. English recognize the parents and each child or children if you have multiple and put your situation into
I am very please with the amount and level of homework given at the school. Teachers and staff are very friendly and welling to help. The school has a excellent after school program. The shcool has several clubs/activities for the students. Staff and student moral seems to be high. I am very pleased with the school. I feel that Northwood is one of the best, if not the best, elementary schools in Baltimore City.
