The school is over crowded not enough qualified teachers that can moniter the students. One caferteria staff member that tries to moniter 50 to 60 kids at a time. Kids that have social issues are mixed in with regular students. Principal not responsive to parents questions or concerns. Too concern with following protocol instead of getting to know the students. Students that leave to attend other schools outside of Baltimore County are at a disadvantage.

This school has some disciplinary issues (ie. fighting, stealing, etc.) that perhaps could be corrected with a more structured schoolwide behavior plan. I don't think the prinicipal is as 'hands-on' with her environment as she should be. The teachers seemed very overwhelmed.

I am a former student of the school. This is a great organized school. There are alot of parent involvment and activities for students. Although the old principal left last year. The new one is keeping the school in shape. New Teachers, New Principal, Uniforms. This school is the best.

About the tests

In 2011-2012 Maryland used the Maryland School Assessment (MSA) to test students in grades 3 through 8 in reading and math, and grades 5 and 8 in science. The MSA is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Maryland. The goal is for all students to score at or above proficient on the test.
