Looking for specific recommendations of public or private schools in the greater Baltimore area (including Baltimore city) for a young child with ADHD. Specifically schools that use positive discipline and will work with families without making kids sit in principal's office. TIA!

I'm not sure where you are geographically located, but St. John's Parish Day School in Ellicott City has a wonderful, nurturing environment. The school has a wonderful learning specialist who works with parents, teachers and administration to find the right solution for your child. We live in the western part of Baltimore City and have found this school to be the perfect fit for our children and the commute is reasonable. Hope that helps!

I don't know this school personally, but I found it in Baltimore Child. They have a open house coming up in December. It's called Baltimore Lab School. It says in the ad that they "provide an exceptional academic experience for bright students in grades 1-12 with learning differences and ADHD".
