This school wastes all there money. They should be spending there money on many other things that they don't have. They don't have a home and careers class, a good tech class (their only tech class is playing on their apple computers), a better band (their band is horrible), and an auditorium. In this school they do not allow students to chose a language to learn, but the school decides what they learn and that is either spanish or french. The students are horrible and a terrible influence towards others children. The teachers do not push the kids in at all. And I'm not going to name names, but the students are kinda really dumb. They get terrible grades like a C on every test and say, "Oh yeah I did great on that test!" If you put your child in this school and they get the honer roll in their first week, it's because this school is way too easy. Also, this school barely gives the students any breaks. When other kids have a whole week off for Presidents Day, this school gives the kids one day off. In this school, they treat the students like theyre little kids. They make us go to the bathroom in pairs and walk to lunch in a line. PLEASE DONT PUT UR KIDS IN THIS SCHOOL OF HELL!!

I must strongly agree with the parent who feels that they have lost 3 years... Coming from another county, my children were considered average at their old school. But here, in Caroline, they are at the top of their class. They had already done, last year, what these teachers were currently teaching. They began to get bored. Moving to Caroline County was the worst mistake we could have ever made. My children are suffering, academically because of it.

The only real complaint I have about Lockerman Middle School is they do not send home news letters to let the parents know what is going on in the school, what events are happening for the month so a parent can take off work and join in. There needs to be more parent involvement however, if the parent is not told what is happening by the school they can not get involved. I would love to see a news letter at the beginning of every month come home to let parents know what is going on in the school. I have been told to go to the power school and have, however it does not tell me until that week or the day before that there is anything going on and I can not take off work to participate. I feel news letters would make a difference.

I think this school is good for my children because the other school they were at the were faling and the teachers wouldn't explain everything to them but the teachers here explain everything slow and easy for hem to understand and I think that is really cool because I have a handicap son and in gym over there they would make him sit out but over here you let him play to and he loves the gym teachers for that and the academic programs are wonderful and my kids love it and one of my kids have been going into heroes for the passed 2 years and she loves it and this year she is going to join again and the school dances you have are good to because my kids can be social with their friends and there is alot of parent involvement in this school like the pta.

This school is terribly misguided and run by people who have no idea what a good school should be. My child has been babysat and not educated. It's been three lost years.
