I have children at Ilchester Elementary, all of whom go on to Bonnie Branch. I do not yet have any kids at Bonnie Branch, so please take the star rating accordingly (GreatSchools.org required a rating to leave the review). I felt it was important for parents reading these reviews, none of which have been since 2011, to know that there was a big change in the school's Administration at the start of the 2013-14 school year, with a new Principal and firing/hiring of several teachers. The new Principal has a reputation for running a very tight ship at her previous middle school of many years and has (according to our neighbors who DO have kids at BBMS) worked hard to address the deficiencies of her predecessor with greatly improved academics, behavior limits, and accountability among the staff and students at all levels.

Our daughter loves it here at BBMS. We love the Principal. Asst. Principal and all the teachers that she has had. We also love the diversity in the school. Great learning!

"F"-- Administration is lacking, therefore no leadership. Teachers have no direction. There are a few experienced teachers, but most seasoned teachers, will or have relocated to another school, leaving the "blind leading the blind." if your child is lucky enough to get some of the few good teachers there, great. Otherwise, don't expect much.

I used to be a student at bbms. Great fantastic school, great staff, great students, and great inviroment. Moving to this school was probably the best thing I could have done to better help my education.

Have much difficulty with politics and support staff. I've seen very poor results with the bullying and lack of enforcement . As a parent, I don't care to be talked to or treated as a child. I also very much agree with the other parent that posted Sept 29. There are teachers there I believe are very good and dedicated. Although, Support Staff vs Parent is embarrasing and should be taken seriously.
