I attended Potomac Landing as a kid and this school has really gone downhill. My son is a 2nd grader and every teacher he has had since K has been less than mediocre to put it nicely. They have no passion for teaching or children. They complain and are not solution oriented. The classrooms are extremely overcrowded. The teachers are underqualified and lack classroom management skills. My child is extremely intelligent and is on honor roll, however, continues to score poorly in Social Skils. Do not send your child here.

My son came to Potomac Landing from a private school with a great foundation. He excelled at Potomac Landing. The foundation couldn't have been any better if he had started there. I could have a larger college fund had I done my homework sooner. No complaints.

Could be better if the special needs population were serviced more. The services provided are okay, but the distractions of the "inclusion" students disrupts my son's class daily.

I was a former teacher at PLES and I LOVED working there. The teachers were the best that I have ever worked with and really care about the students. The entire staff works as a team and helps each other out. It's not just a school, but a family.

My son has been attending PLES for 2 years and I have been thoroughly pleased with the curriculum, staff and activities. The VP and Principal are always reachable and willing to help resolve any concerns. I would like to see more computers in the classrooms and the children to spend more time learning about them and then the school would be perfect to us!

PLES is an awesome school. I have three children there and a fourth to come and I would not recommend any other school. The teachers honestly care about their students and they help them in any way they can. The curriculum is great and my children have learned so much while at PLES. The faculty is wonderful and they are always friendly. The Principal and Vice-Principal are on one accord and they care about the students, test scores, parents, their staff, teachers and everyone they encounter. Overall, this school gets a five star from me!

Classrooms are overcrowed. quite a bit discpline problems. many students from District of columbia. Curriculum is supposed to be advanced howevr many students expereince failure, due to lack of prior knowledge of concepts presented. If you must place student here, please get extra tutoring support.

Over the past seven years, I have had two children enrolled in PLES. I have been thoroughly impressed with the professionalism of all of the staff. The teachers possess knowledge in the areas they teach, they are caring, committed, and compassionate. The principle is extremely involved with school activities and the atmosphere is welcoming. I am blessed to have experienced PLES and for my children to attend this dynamic school. It is comporable to a private school education to say the least. Thanks for many years of positive learning, growth and development PLES. It has been an enjoyable ride.

We moved here from Northern Virginia mid-way through the year and I have to admit I was worried about leaving Fairfax County Schools and entering PG Schools, who wouldn't be right. I know that it is just kindergarten but everyone has been great here. I can tell that the faculty really care about each and every student. I can see how my child has grown and her work has improved. I am truly pleased with PLES. Thank you, you have made this an easy transition for our family.
