Both of my children attended Bond Mill, as did I long ago. It is still a good school and has even improved. The staff and teachers are very caring. My children had special medical issues. Everyone there looked out for my daughter and helped her learn to thrive with her challenges. In Kindergarten she was thoroughly taught how to make her surroundings safe. She gained a confidence I don't think I could have installed in her by myself. My son thrived as well. They both continue to get honor roll and take honors classes. They were well prepared for MLK middle by their 5th grade teacher. I am so grateful to everyone at Bond Mill. They not only do their jobs, but love them. And it shows. In the school and the students they teach. It has been a privilege to have my kids at Bond Mill.

This will be my son's last year at Bond Mill. I know he's going to miss every one just as much as I will. His 4th grade teacher Mr. Haslup is an extremely remarkable person. His level of attention to each student and his patience should be bottled. If your looking for a great school that will be dedicated your childs development, Bond Mill is the way to go.

Great school! Each morning (rain or shine) principal Fitzgerald greets my son by name and a high five at the entrance. From advanced spelling lists and reading groups to algebra and academic teams like Destination Imagination - he has been challenged and loves it. Our oldest son enjoyed a private elementary school education. But Bond Mill is easily comparable and probably a tad better.

This is my son's first year at Bond Mill, we made the best decision by staying in Laurel. The principal, Mr. Fitzgerald is amazing. He is well loved by the students and staff. The teachers are great. I wish I could be my son's principle all the way up to 12th grade! The other great thing about this school is the parent participation.

The Principal Mr Fitzgerald knows all the students by name and is very involved with all activities. The teachers are great and also very involved with the students. My 3 step-children and son all went to Bond Mill and I am very pleased with this school. The entire staff is very professional and very helpful.

My son has always been in private school until this year when he stared second grade. I was a little nervous about the transition, but it turned out to be great. His teacher is extremely helpful and always willing to discuss my son's progress or any concerns that I may have. The principal is the best I have ever met. He takes time to get to know the kids and is always willing to talk to the children or parents and encourages parental involvement. The only problem I have is that with the new boundaries in the Laurel area, my son will be moved to Scotchtown Hills next year. I haven't heard such good things about that school so we may be heading back to private school next year. But Bond Mill is hands down a great public school.

I absolutely love this school and so does my daughter. The staff is always so friendly and helpful and the Principal makes every effort to get to know the students and parents. My daughter has really thrived at this school and I can't wait for my younger child to begin here.

I absolutely love this school. We love the parent involvement, the teachers are wonderful, and inspite of what is said about schools in PG county, Bondmill is A+. I don't think we could have found a better school to send our children. It is very unfortunate that this is the last year our children will attend. This is truly a Blue Ribbon Of Excellence school.

Bond Mill is an excellent elementary school. This is my 5th year at the school and now have 3 children there. The teachers really are able to differentiate between skill levels and adapt their curriculum to each child's needs. I have been so impressed with this. We have a great parent community, generally having over 90% PTA participation. School programs are well attended. The teachers welcome parents in the classroom to help with everything from cutting out materials to working one on one with a child who needs extra attention. The office staff knows all the parents by name and knows which are their children. We have a new principal this year and he seems to be continuing the tradition of excellence we have known at this school. I can't say enough good things about it. I also love the size, this year at 550. A+

My children transfered to this school last year (2003-04) and we are very excited about that change. Bond Mill Elementary has a committment to our children that goes over and beyond. I have been impressed with the principals' involvement in every child at the school. I believe that the principal sets the tone for the school and Mrs. Landry has done an excellent job. The teachers are attentive and qualified, as well as, caring individuals. But one of the biggest advantages that Bond Mill has over many schools it that the parents are involved and stay involved in the school. We are very happy with the school and give it an 'A+'.
