-Considering my oldest son graduated from 7th District and is excelling as a 7th grader in Hereford Middle, I must say they did a great job preparing him for the next level. -My younger son is now in GT math and loving it, he's very excited and likes the challenges of the 3rd grade so far. - 7th District talks to parents regularly about their children's progress. - Challenges students to learn. - Gives students the attention they need to thrive in class.
Ms. Brooks has done a wonderful job, leading the school to Blue Ribbon status. We are very lucky to have her here.
I am still in shock that school rules could be so arbitrarily enforced. It still angers me that rules were not applied to some families, and when I asked for the same treatment, I was brusquely and forcefully told that the very action that a parent had just been allowed to do was not allowed for me. SO glad I moved my kids out. I was very uncomfortable with the administration's application of 'rules'.
I am very pleased with Seventh District. In fact, the school was just awarded Blue Ribbon Status meaning 'that (the school)exhibit(s) sustained high performance and/or significant improvement in student achievement'.
The teachers and administrators are very responsive to the needs of the children. They are approachable and quick to respond to the few questions I have had. There are opportunities for the children to be engaged on a dialy basis.
I love 7th District! My son is in Kindergarten and I am very happy with the teachers and classroom environment. The Principal, Ms. Brooks, is very organized and efficient. I am an educator myself, and am very pleased!
School excels in teaching to individual learning levels. Staff takes the time to evaluate and communicate educational as well as social issues. Provides challenging environment to reach students potential, not merely state testing requirements. Extremely pleased.
