The administrators, teachers, and PTA are very involved and dedicated to creating an environment that helps our children grow and enjoy learning. Everyone is approachable and quick to lend support and guidance. Teachers are available in person and via email to answer questions and suggest homework and behavioral strategies that have positively affected my children s performance and happiness. This school is our extended family that energizes us to reach new heights. Administrators run in reading relays and hold book clubs to make them better educators, my kids better learners and me a better parent. These caring and knowledgeable people enrich our lives. A special thank you to Ms. Brooks, Mr. Pizzo, Mrs. McNicholas, Mrs. K, Mrs. B, Ms Debbie, Mr. Reed, Mrs. Schattall, Ms. Simonetta, Ms. Bonnie, Ms Glenda and all the wonderful teachers, staff, administrators and parents for welcoming and inspiring my kids!

I am a student that graduated from 7th in 2011. Overall, I am not the most impressed by this school. Though, most of the teachers are fantastic there are a few that lag behind. The people who work in the office, are very nice (when i was there) but they are a little disorganized. I think the school could also improve upon some discipline actions, as some ridiculous things have been done in the past, that I don't even want to write in this rating. a positive thing though is that it filters into Hereford Md. and High. I also fully agree with the comment that was posted on May 27th, 2009. You may want to think twice before coming here.

-Considering my oldest son graduated from 7th District and is excelling as a 7th grader in Hereford Middle, I must say they did a great job preparing him for the next level. -My younger son is now in GT math and loving it, he's very excited and likes the challenges of the 3rd grade so far. - 7th District talks to parents regularly about their children's progress. - Challenges students to learn. - Gives students the attention they need to thrive in class.

Ms. Brooks has done a wonderful job, leading the school to Blue Ribbon status. We are very lucky to have her here.

I am still in shock that school rules could be so arbitrarily enforced. It still angers me that rules were not applied to some families, and when I asked for the same treatment, I was brusquely and forcefully told that the very action that a parent had just been allowed to do was not allowed for me. SO glad I moved my kids out. I was very uncomfortable with the administration's application of 'rules'.

I am very pleased with Seventh District. In fact, the school was just awarded Blue Ribbon Status meaning 'that (the school)exhibit(s) sustained high performance and/or significant improvement in student achievement'.

The teachers and administrators are very responsive to the needs of the children. They are approachable and quick to respond to the few questions I have had. There are opportunities for the children to be engaged on a dialy basis.

I love 7th District! My son is in Kindergarten and I am very happy with the teachers and classroom environment. The Principal, Ms. Brooks, is very organized and efficient. I am an educator myself, and am very pleased!

School excels in teaching to individual learning levels. Staff takes the time to evaluate and communicate educational as well as social issues. Provides challenging environment to reach students potential, not merely state testing requirements. Extremely pleased.
