Lighthouse is an awesome school! It is a great environment for children of all ages. The ciriculum teaches children about God's role in every school subject. The teachers truly love their students and want to see their students succeed. Mrs. Creek, the 2nd grade teacher, goes out of her way to create fun projects for her students. Mrs.Johnson, the 5th grade teacher, is great with kids and works on finding the best ways for each student to learn. Ms. Hawley, the middle/high school literature teacher, works to make literature interesting and understandable. It is great to know that there are still christian schools in the area that teach God's word and show students that they care.

My son was in 2nd grade with Mrs. Creek and my daughter was in Kindergarten with Mrs. Campbell. It was hard to leave LCA but my job was moving out of the state. My entire family loved the school. It is the school I use to base all other schools. Mrs. Creek is a God send. She truly enjoys teaching. Mrs. Campbell loves the children. Her understanding of their needs is absolutely outstanding. The entire school is spiritually growned. The curriculum is Christian based. The prinicipal is Pastor Webb. His dedication to providing the best enviornment for the children is obvious in all every action he takes. The school is supported by a wonderful church, Pleasantview Baptist Church. It is a two for one deal. A great school and a great church. I highly recommend. If I am ever in the area again, I will definitely attend LCA.

My son has gone through the 1st thru the 9th grade. He has done very well & his SAT scores have all been well above the state & national average. (Public schools said that he was a 'special ed student' at the end of kindergarten.) He is receiving a Biblically based education in a 15 student classroom. I would encourage anyone that cares about the quality of education for their child, consider LCA. I also have a child in the 4th grade & am excited & encouraged by her daily growth in her relationship with the Lord and understanding of His word because of the tremendous education she is receiving. LCA is a very competitive school in all services it has to offer at a competitive tuition. Highly recommended! LCA is a school that cares about each students growth -spiritually, mentally & physically!

LCA is a wonderful place for Biblically based Christian American education. The students are taught to reason and think based on the truths of the Bible. I would not have my son any other place. He loves school, and can not wait to learn and experience what the teacher has planned for that day.
