Pleasant Plains Elementary School is a great school. I had one problem with the staff- not very friendly. I don't understand how one can walk past another without a greeting. I understand manners start at home. I am a firm beliver in that. It doesn't hurt to be friendly. The neighborhood is a great place to live and raise kids . Most people in the neighborhod are very friendly . It makes me wonder when I would enter the school walk right pass a teacher and nothing. No hello or smile ! I would definitely wonder about the surroundings in the building.
This is our 'real' school and she loves it there. We love her teacher and all the opportunties our daughter has had at the school.
Excellent teachers, fun learning, activities, safe, informed, and family oriented
My kids have been going to this school for 5 years and it has the best and nicest staff. Everything about this school is great!!!!
This school has resources for all students be it special education or gifted and talented.
My children go to pleasant plains i love the teachers they do such a good job i can not tell you how good they are!!!!the office staff needs an attitude check, and as far as the parent involvment some of us have to work sorry .The teachers do a great job and are great at what they do i would not send my children to another school if i could.
I love the curriculum. My daughter is in the gifted and talented program. She gets a lot of support to excel. I am a devoted single parent and really had to go that extra mile to make my daughter's experience a good one. I see some parent involvement among the mothers who are lucky enough to have that extra time during the day. That does not mean a lack of dedication from those of us whose circumstance does not allow us that time. Although I like Ms. Partilla, her staff can be off putting. I worked past that and not every parent will feel they should have to do that. Not every parent will have the time to do that.
My son attends Pre-K at Pleasant Plains. The teacher and her aids are the best!! If you have the opportunity to attend Mrs. Lansingers class you are very lucky. Over all it is a good school. But the students lack parent envolment.
My son is cuurently a fifth grader here, since day one in the kindergarten class I have had that special feel for this school it is a special place. The staff is amazing and the students are as well.I highly praise the entire group for all there efforts and only hope my sons experience will continue as positive as he passes on to loch raven academy
The teachers at Pleasant Plains are excellent. They definitely go the extra mile. Both of my children had wonderful teachers when they attended Pleasant Plains. Parent involvement could be improved.
